Better Futures provided business consulting for Public Health Management Corporation’s (PHMC) Child Development and Family Services (CDFS) department’s business operations and quality initiatives for Philadelphia childcare providers since 2020.

PHMC contracted with Better Futures during the pandemic to provide business stabilization supports to childcare providers impacted by COVID-19. Our support allowed providers to successfully access American Rescue Plan Act Stabilization Grants and other financial supports and ensured childcare providers were knowledgeable regarding eligibility and reporting requirements. In addition, they provided individualized business supports to help providers understand their cost of care, revenue loss, and develop strategies to support the stabilization and sustainability of childcare programs.
